The Pad was set up in 2019 by local Shoreham Couple, Ben and Lindsey Towers. The Pad provides ethically and where possible locally sourced casual menswear, grooming products and accessories for men of all ages.
A visit to The Pad sees a return of great face to face customer service, something that the digital age lacks.
Customers are able to browse the shop feeling the quality of the products, talk to Ben about them and try on before buying. If you are looking for additions to your wardrobe or buying a gift for a guy, this place is a must visit!
Based in Shoreham by Sea, West Sussex. The Pad provides contemporary and casual men’s clothing, accessories and grooming products. A small shop, with a relaxed vibe and good tunes.
Myself and Lindsey opened The Pad in July 2019 after I was made redundant from a career in Project Management.
We have lived in Shoreham for 10 years and opening a menswear shop here is something I have wanted to do for a long time. Shoreham is a great place, full of amazing independent businesses who are supported by fantastic residents and visitors to the town.
When it comes to menswear, I think us guys have had a pretty raw deal with bland/generic clothing squashed into the far corners of larger chain stores. I wanted The Pad to have some different yet affordable products, a welcoming atmosphere and great customer service, the type of shop I would want to go into.
Both Lindsey and I have been so chuffed with the support we have had since opening, especially through the hard times this year, we really appreciate it.
